Hello my name is Vincent Michiels and I am an attorney with the Antwerp Bar.
I started my academic journey at the College “Artesis Plantijn” in Antwerp, where I completed my bachelor’s degree in ‘legal practice’. However, as it had always been my dream to go to university, I followed this education with a bridging programme in Law at the Free University of Brussels followed by a Master in Laws at the same University. It was during this Master's degree that I came into contact with the interesting subject of IP-Law and decided to do an LLM in Intellectual Property and ICT Law at the KULeuven University in order to pursue this passion that I had already developed for IP.
I am now delighted to be working full time in the field of IP and ICT law and to be able to use the technical knowledge that I have acquired during my academic career in a practical way, with the aim of helping creative minds with their ideas, questions, problems, etc. My goal is to develop as an attorney by helping our clients develop and grow in their interesting endeavours.
Of course, I also have other passions besides Law. You can often find me on my mountain bike enjoying the countryside, climbing on artificial walls or natural rocks and most of all you can find me enjoying my passion for photography where I develop myself as a photographer/artist in various styles.
